Background
A Pacific Northwest native, I’ve spent my professional career in natural resource management starting in forestry and then moving into regulatory agriculture. The bulk of my work experience revolves around controlling invasive species, addressing import/export challenges and overseeing several laboratories that helped regulate and facilitate trade in agricultural and forest commodities. My final decade in regulatory agriculture focused primarily on providing executive level administrative support to a state agency division and serving as a liaison to various state and federal agencies.
