SEATTLE – In accordance with the IPHC Fishery Regulations (2023), Section 9 (Commercial Fishing Periods), please note that all commercial fishing for Pacific halibut in the IPHC Convention Area ceased for the year at 1200 local time on 7 December. The fishery is now closed.
