RECREATIONAL FISHERY OPENINGS
IN IPHC REGULATORY AREA 2A:
NORTH WASHINGTON COAST AND CENTRAL OREGON COAST SUBAREAS
Opening: Washington North Coast Subarea (WDFW Marine Area 3 and 4) Pacific halibut recreational fishery. There is enough Pacific halibut quota remaining in the Pacific halibut recreational fishery in the Washington North Coast Subarea for this subarea to be open 27 and 29 June 2019 to allow for more fishing opportunities
Opening: Central Oregon Coast Subarea (ODFW Central Oregon Coast Subarea) spring all-depth Pacific halibut recreational fishery. There is an estimated 65% (110,867 pounds) of the Central Oregon Coast Subarea spring all-depth Pacific halibut fishery quota remaining. Therefore, the Central Oregon Coast Subarea spring all-depth Pacific halibut fishery will open 20 to 22 June and again 4 to 6 July 2019 to allow for more fishing opportunities.
