RECREATIONAL FISHERS: WASHINGTON SOUTCH COAST
ALL DEPTH CLOSURE

Closed: Washington South Coast (WDFW Marine Area 2) all-depth (primary) Pacific halibut recreational fishery. The Washington preliminary catch estimates from the South Coast all-depth recreational fishery total 41,258 pounds (18.7 tonnes), against an allocation of 44,341 pounds (20.1 tonnes). As a result, the Washington South Coast all-depth Pacific halibut recreational fishery is closed for the remainder of 2018. Any remaining quota will be transferred to the nearshore fishery in the Washington South Coast subarea (WDFW Marine Area 2).
