Vessel License Application for the 2013 Area 2A Halibut Fishery
Vessels in Alaska and British Columbia no longer need a license from the IPHC. Federal and State licensing requirements, though, must still be fulfilled.
Please be aware of the following policy change when submitting your application:
Applications must be signed by the vessel owner. Applications completed and signed by the vessel captain, if different from the owner, will not be processed.
NOTE: If you made a commercial landing or held an IPHC Sport Charter License last year, you will automatically be mailed a renewal form.
Area 2A (WA-OR-CA) license applications for the directed commercial, and/or incidental commercial during longline sablefish fishery must be postmarked or faxed no later than 11:59 p.m. April 30, 2013.
Area 2A (WA-OR-CA) license applications for the incidental commercial fishery during the salmon trolling season must be postmarked or faxed no later than 11:59 p.m. April 1, 2013.
There is no deadline for Area 2A Sport Charter applications.
